About us

Chris and Lisa Pearson established Green Light Driving School in 1997. Chris Pearson has a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Occupational Safety. Lisa Pearson has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Both graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1995 and were married later that year.  Chris retired from the Bartlett Police Department after twenty years of service (4/4/2003 - 5/4/2023).  He was an Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) instructor at the Bartlett Police Department and was the lead EVOC instructor for the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy in Glen Ellyn.

Our Mission
Green Light Driving School is committed to teaching defensive driving techniques to teenagers and adults across the Northwest Chicago Suburbs in an environment where learning is fun, schedules are flexible, and total customer satisfaction is a priority.
